Joseph Artuso is a Research Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager at Easterly Investment Partners (EIP). Prior to EIP, Joseph was at Snow Capital, having joined in 2005 as an intern. Arnim is the Global Macro Strategist and Client Portfolio Manager at Easterly EAB Risk Solutions. He has over 40 years of global macro and multi asset experience. Arnim has served as Chief Investment Officer, Strategist, Portfolio Manager, and Client Service and Marketing executive at several firms over the past 30 years. His investment philosophy is a unique blend of fundamental, technical and, quantitative disciplines honed over the years of working with many of the top firms and investors in each of these disciplines. His particular macro skill is understanding the relationships of correlation and volatility in the optimization of portfolio construction and return generation. Prior to joining EAB, Arnim founded a tail risk consulting firm, ASH Strategy, LLC, where he developed a novel multi asset hedging approach for institutional, high net worth, and family office investors. For 6 years he managed or served as senior strategist on multi asset funds or strategies at Deutsche Asset management and Scudder. While at Deutsche he was the portfolio manager on approximately $3 billion of assets in domestic and offshore multi-asset funds. He also founded and managed a multi asset offshore hedge fund at Israel Discount Bank of New York. Arnim received his undergraduate Economics degree from Princeton University and his MBA-Finance from Fordham University. He holds a Series 7 and 65 Registered Representative securities registration.

Jim is the President of Easterly EAB Risk Solutions. Jim has 35 years of trading experience in equities, futures and derivatives. Prior to joining EAB Investment Group, Jim co-founded RB Derivatives LP in 2006. RB Derivatives was involved in mean reversion equity trading and earnings event arbitrage. At RB, Jim developed proprietary algorithms based on quantitative research and automated the execution through proprietary software. Previously, he co-founded Heard Trading, LLC in 1990. Heard was a Philadelphia based proprietary trading firm specializing in volatility arbitrage in index and equity options. Jim was responsible for firm wide risk and business development. Through his leadership, the firm grew to 60 employees and expanded to San Francisco, Chicago and New York. Jim also spearheaded the firm’s entry into the ETF arbitrage business on the AMEX. In addition to his duties at Heard, he worked with programmers to design and build an electronic trading system for pairs, baskets and single stock execution. The system was used both internally and externally through a distribution agreement with Fimat. Jim received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Richmond. He holds Series 7 and 65 licenses.

Previously, he worked for BlackRock iShares, UBS and Merrill Lynch in various sales leadership positions throughout the U.S. Mac graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from Florida State University. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA).
Pete is a Senior Vice President and Head of Institutional Sales for Easterly Asset Management. Prior to Easterly, Pete served as Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales at Westwood Holdings Group and was responsible for business development in the Eastern region of the U.S. Prior to that, Peter served in a number of sales roles covering the domestic and institutional markets at OFI Global Asset Management. Earlier, Peter held positions at Credit Suisse and New York Life Insurance Company. Peter received his M.S. in Finance from Stevens Institute of Technology and his B.A. in History from York College of Pennsylvania. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Chris has also worked at Altegris Investments and Eaton Vance, and began his investment career at Fidelity Investments. Chris graduated with a B.A. in Communications from the University of New Hampshire.
James is Product Manager at Easterly Funds, responsible for mutual fund business development and marketing efforts across the firm. Prior to joining Easterly, James was a Consultant at Syntrinsic Investment Counsel, where he advised institutional and high net worth clients presenting regular updates on investment performance, allocation and capital markets. He was also involved in the determination of investment objectives and the establishment of investment policy. Prior to that, James held roles in private wealth management, M&A and mutual fund operations. James earned his B.A.(Honours) in Sociology from Queen’s University in Canada. He is a CFA charterholder and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Colorado. He is also a CAIA charterholder and member of the CAIA Association.
Matthew is a Vice President at Easterly Funds, responsible for sales and marketing efforts across all channels in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to his current role, Matthew oversaw all internal sales efforts and strategy nationwide at James Alpha Advisors. Prior to that, Matthew was with Jackson National as an internal wholesaler, catering to investment advisors in Southern California. Matthew received his B.S. in Finance at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Katie is a Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing for Easterly. Prior to joining Easterly, Katie served as Director of Marketing for Breckinridge Capital Advisors, an investment grade fixed income provider. At Breckinridge, she established the firm’s marketing department and led strategy and oversight of all marketing initiatives over a 10-year period. Prior to Breckinridge, Katie spent 5 years at State Street Global Advisors where she held marketing roles within the company’s Consultant Relations and Fixed Income departments. Before State Street Global Advisors, she worked as a Mortgage Closer for a subsidiary of ING. Katie began her career as a Legal Analyst for the Law Firm of Powers & Liquori. Katie received her B.A. in Economics from Mount Holyoke College.
Chris is a Vice President at Easterly, responsible for National Accounts. Prior to joining Easterly, Chris was a Director, National Account Manager at Affiliated Managers Group Funds. He was responsible for representing AMG’s offering of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative products at the home offices of various firms within the independent broker/dealer, RIA/custodian, bank, and defined contribution channel(s). Previously, Chris spent a decade at Fidelity Investments, where he held field sales and internal sales positions. Chris earned a B.A. in Economics from Rhode Island College. He also holds the AIF and CIMA certification(s), and is currently a CFA Level III candidate.
Elsa is a Digital Marketing Specialist at Easterly Funds, responsible for maintaining the digital presence of Easterly Funds through website and email marketing. Prior to that, Elsa worked at Exact Science managing corporate social media and blog content. Elsa received her B.A. in English Literature at University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.

Ryan is a Vice President at Easterly Funds, responsible for marketing and sales of Easterly’s investment solutions across all channels throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Prior to joining Easterly, Ryan spent 10 years with DWS Group and was a Regional Vice President, responsible for the distribution of mutual funds, structured products, ETFs, and alternatives across Independent Broker-Dealers and RIAs. Prior to that, Ryan spent nearly 5 years with Morgan Stanley as a financial advisor. Ryan earned a B.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University. He has also completed CAIA Association’s Fundamentals of Alternative Investments program.

Prior to Chapin Hill Advisors, he served as a Portfolio Manager for the Cayuga MBA Fund LLC, a long/short equity hedge fund. Mike began his career with Schlumberger where he spent six years working as a Senior Geophysicist in Schlumberger’s Oilfield Services division. He holds a B.S. in Geophysics from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from Cornell University.
